I recently struck "red and yellow" gold in a box of "junk" from an estate sale. My buddy runs these sales and occasionally drops off boxes of random leftovers that didn't sell. Usually, it’s just old cables and loose buttons, but buried at the bottom was this Two Inch, Toy Horseshoe Magnet. I’ve seen plenty of magnets in my time, but I’ve never come across one of these rare little guys before. Despite being a vintage toy, it was in surprisingly good condition for its age—just the right amount of weathered patina to make it look authentic rather than trashed.
I decided to toss it up on eBay, and I was honestly shocked when it sold for $12.85. Since I got the item for a grand total of zero dollars, that’s what we in the business call "infinite ROI." It’s funny how a simple pocket-sized science toy can still find a home in 2026. If you’re looking for more unique finds or cool collectibles, feel free to check out my
