NASCAR Treasure: Vintage 90s Dale Earnhardt & Rusty Wallace Koozie Sale

You never know what’s hiding under a thick layer of garage dust. I recently hit up an estate sale and scored a bundle of 1990s NASCAR collectibles for next to nothing—maybe three bucks a piece. Among the haul were these classic Kool Kan koozies featuring racing legends Dale Earnhardt, Rusty Wallace, and a sharp yellow Michael Waltrip Pennzoil branded one. They looked a bit rough at first, but after a good scrubbing, they cleaned up beautifully. If you want to see the transformation from "crusty" to "musty-free," check out my cleaning video on YouTube. It’s amazing what a little soap and water can do for vintage foam!

I listed them on eBay, and it didn't take long for a serious fan to reach out. We worked out a package deal, and all three sold for a cool $80. Not a bad ROI for something that had been forgotten in a garage for decades! It’s always a win when you can get Sports Collectibles into the hands of someone who truly appreciates the history. These Vintage racing gems are definitely getting harder to find in this kind of shape.
