I recently received a real diamond in the rough from a box of estate sale leftovers. Among the junk was this Vintage Brass Letter Opener marked Montagnani Italy. Even though it was in fair used condition, I had a gut feeling it had some potential. I only paid about a $1.00 for it, and after a little bit of research, I realized these Italian brass pieces are actually quite valuable for their size. It’s always exciting when a cheap find turns out to be a legitimate collectible!
I didn't even have time to let it get dusty on the shelf because it sold quickly on eBay for $13.00. It just goes to show that you don't need to spend a fortune to find something special—sometimes you just need to look in the right leftover box!
