I recently stumbled upon a real piece of history in an estate sale junk box: an Antique Model A Ford Engine Hand Crank. The best part? It was absolutely free. You really can’t beat a price tag of zero dollars. I don't know much about these cranks but I think they can be used on generators and tractors. It had a bit of surface rust, which is expected for its age, but overall it was in great condition.
I listed it on eBay and, since I was clueless of the real value, I started the price high and within a week accepted a solid offer of $25.00. Shipping this thing was a bit of a workout, though. Large, heavy items are always a pain in the butt to pack. I definitely felt like I earned every penny of the profit by the time I got it taped into a box. The buyer was thrilled and left positive feedback, so it was well worth the effort.
