I recently hit up a local estate sale and managed to snag a sweet little find for the tool chest—or rather, for someone else's tool chest. I picked up this Fail-Safe 9311 Spanner / T20 Torx Combination Screwdriver in a big lot of hand tools. If I had to guess, I probably had less than a buck invested in this specific piece. It was in like-new condition, looking like it had never even seen a stubborn security screw in its life. These specialty drivers are great for those "security" fasteners commonly used on electronics and machinery.
I listed it on eBay and it didn't take long to move. It ended up selling for $7.00, which is a solid little win. Turning $1 into $7 is the kind of math I can get behind! If you’re looking for more specialized gear or weird workshop finds, be sure to check out my
