Well, folks, today’s post isn’t exactly a masterclass in "buy low, sell high." In fact, it’s more of a "buy new, sell for gas money" situation. I originally picked up this 47 Brand Oakland A’s Baseball Cap brand new off Amazon to wear during my sons Little League games. It’s a classic, MLB team hat with the relaxed fit 47 Brand is known for. After a season of cheering from the sidelines, rather than letting it collect dust, I tossed it onto eBay to find a new fan.
I’ll be honest: I paid $20 for it and it just sold for $8.15. If you’re doing the math, yeah, I definitely lost money on this one. It wasn’t a typical thrift store flip; it was just a piece of our family’s sports history moving on.
